      Social Skills for SEND workshop

This workshop will be led by Annaliese Boucher, Founding Director of Sen Talk CIC. Sen Talk is a Community Interest Company that works across South West London to advance outcomes for children with special educational needs and improve the emotional and social development of autistic children and children with ADHD through a multidisciplinary approach. Annaliese set up the organisation in 2015 after her own son was diagnosed with ADHD and later ASD. She has worked with children and young people for the past fifteen years, in children services and education, supporting vulnerable children and adolescents to overcome social and emotional barriers. Annaliese’s personal interests in communication skills have allowed her to successfully design and deliver unique child first programmes to parents and professionals within social skills, sensory integration and LEGO®-Based therapy. How to get here: Our office is well connected by public transport with Bus 281 stopping at the top of the road and Bus 33 opposite the office. Parking is very limited at the DAAC, but the Teddington Swimming Pool on Vicarage Rd, Teddington TW11 8EZ, has paid parking.  There is also some paid parking on Teddington High Street and some free parking on nearby roads.  Tea and coffee will be provided. Please note there are no creche facilities available at this venue. For more information please contact Tora Sykes on 020 8831 6083 or email ToraSykes@ruils.co.uk
