      After several successful seasons highlighting up and coming artists Platform 4 continues the 2019 season with 3 more wonderful singers each with their own beautiful renditions of some of the best musical compostions. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to see 3 highly talented artists hosted by  the gorgeous Linley Weir. 30th November 2019:

      Karen Freeman has been a dancer/choreographer and performance stylist for many well known UK, USA and European artists. She has performed in the cast of two West end musicals and at the age of 18 was the youngest person to have a lead role in the West end of London.

      In the year 2000 Karen had a no 12 in the UK charts with Mirror ball “Givin Up” and has sang backing vocals on many top 20 chart singles.Karen is thrilled to have this opportunity to be performing at the Pheasantry and hopes that this will be the first step back to her love of Jazz and lead to the next stage of her performance career.

      Tonight she will be performing jazz standards from the Great American song book, concentrating on the "The Cotton Club” 1922-1940s in Harlem New York.

      Sarah Chaplin is a jazz vocalist and also plays sax and flute. She has played at Pizza Express Jazz Club, Spice of Life and The Pheasantry with her septet, and frequently plays duo gigs with pianist Ross Lorraine or guitarist Pete Duncan in London and the south east. 
      Over the years she has been part of many different line-ups including Elmbridge Big Band and the London Jazz Flute Big Band. She released her debut album ‘Firehorse’in March 2016, featuring 11 of her own tunes, and her debut vocal album ‘We Both Are Lost’ came out in November 2017.

      Nadine Assam is a jazz singer based in South-West London. Having studied under the likes of incredible artists such as Linley Weir and Irene Serra, Nadine has developed her sound to incorporate various genres, spanning from Latin to Neo-Soul. Nadine recently graduated from Royal Holloway University, where she studied music and was a vocalist for the esteemed Undergraduated Big Band. A member of various bands and musical projects, Nadine has performed in a range of established venues, including Rich Mix, Le Quecumbar, and Pizza Express Jazz Club. In the coming year, Nadine will be releasing music with her own Latin Jazz band, ‘Naia,’ and performing widely with Jazz trio ‘Muted Affair’.
