      About our Conference: The Ménière’s Society Annual Conference brings together those affected by vestibular (inner ear) disorders with health professionals and the trustees and staff of the Ménière’s Society for an informative and enjoyable event. Once again, we’ve brought together a range of experts to provide an insight into the latest research and current methods for the treatment and management of vestibular conditions causing dizziness and imbalance. Topics and speakers: Balance in the Built Environment Jean Hewitt, UCL Hon Sn Lecturer, Inclusive Design Consultant and Trainer, BuroHappold Presenting the HOLOBALANCE project Doris-Eva Bamiou, Professor in Neuroaudiology, UCL Ear Institute Dizziness - Not just one cause Dr Joanna Lawson, Associate Specialist, Falls and Syncope Service, Newcastle upon Tyne Hospitals Trust Psychogenic balance disorders and functional dizziness Dr Amy Edwards, Barts Health NHS Trust and Imperial College London Tinnitus in Ménière's disease Sana Amanat, PhD Student, University of Granada What's included: Conference fee includes registration, delegate pack, refreshments throughout the day and a two-course lunch. A hearing loop system and speech to text reporting will be in place. Registration is from 10.30am. During lunch and breaks there are opportunities for networking and visiting information stands. The Annual General Meeting for the Ménière’s Society will also take place at the end of the day. Of course, the more the merrier! If you are already a member of the Meniere's Society you can bring up to three guests at the member ticket rate.  What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event? Avonmouth House is five minutes from both Elephant & Castle Underground and mainline stations and Borough Underground station. There are regular buses from most mainline stations, visit www.tfl.gov.uk for more information. Limited meter parking is available on Avonmouth Street and the surrounding roads. Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event? No, you do not need to bring your ticket as we will have a list of everyone who has booked on the day. Can I update my registration information? Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends? Yes, it's ok if the person attending is different from the person who booked the ticket. It's helpful, however, if you can let us know so we can have the correct name on our records and for the delegate badge and pack to be issued correctly.
