London Photo Walk - Architecture of London

Join us on a vibrant walk through the City of London, which will see you taking in some of the great architecture of the City of London. Starting at Liverpool Street Station we will visit 30 St Mary Axe - more commonly known as the Gherkin, Lloyds Building, Leadenhall Market and the Royal Exchange. If that isn't enough for you, we will move on past the Guildhall along Cheapside towards the splendour of St Paul's Cathedral, with the walk concluding at St Paul's Station.  Expect to get great pictures of: The monumental 'Gherkin'  The fantastic grandeur found in the interior of Leadenhall Market  London's iconic cathedral, St Paul's Essential items to bring with you on your walk: Camera - Compact Camera, Mirrorless Camera or Digital SLR  Lenses: if you are bringing an interchangeable lens camera a wide-angle lens, standard zoom and telephoto lens would all be useful, however if you only have one lens don't worry!  Bottle of water Mobile phone A few suggestions: Don't weigh yourself down with lots of gear: one or two cameras is fine, and try to bring a maximum of 3 or 4 lenses. We also recommend that you don't bring a tripod along on the walk.  Be Aware: cameras are valuable items so please keep your gear close to you and be aware of your surroundings.  Waterproof Clothing: these Photo Walks are in London, meaning regardless of the month you could be prone to a rain storm at any time! Bringing a waterproof coat or umbrella will help protect you from the elements. If the weather conditions are wet then your walk leader may change the route to allow shots from sheltered locations. Please note: You will receive an email from the course Tutor a day or two before the event with full meeting point instructions. Some of our courses require a minimum number of participants to enable us to operate them. If the minimum number of bookings required for a course has not been received, we are entitled to cancel it. We will notify you of cancellation for this reason no later than 7 days before your course is due to take place.
