      How to Be Kind to Yourself Half-Day CourseSaturday 23 November, 10am - 1pm Buddha said that we are our own protector and that we are our own enemy. It is therefore important to learn how we are often harming ourself by thinking in ways that make us feel depressed or angry, and how we can instead start thinking in ways that uplifts our mind and makes us feel happy about ourself and others. In this way we are truly kind to ourself and we help others too. Everyone welcome! Schedule Session one:  10.00 - 11.15am Break: 11.15 - 11.45am Session two: 11.45 - 1.00pm Refreshments - after 1pm Tickets £25 (Includes refreshments) Free for Standard and Benefactor Members FAQs What will each session consist of? Each session will include a combination of teachings and guided meditations with an opportunity to discuss during the break time. Do I need to bring anything or wear anything special? No. You can choose to sit on chairs, or cushions if you prefer to sit cross-legged. You don’t need to bring anything else with you, but some people like to take notes during the session, so feel free to bring a paper and pen. What if I’m new to this? Everyone is welcome to participate and will benefit both new and experienced people alike. Our reception staff will happily recommend some follow-on reading or classes after the course if you are interested.
