After the success of Bott & Burns Festival 2019 in June, we've been invited to take over one of our favourite London clubs on Saturday, November 2nd for a day party in the dark.

As per our London-born "By-Night" series, think stripped-back-party-vibes with music and community in mind. Expect B&B favourites, alongside special guests:

      DESERT SOUND COLONY

DSC is a DJ, producer and head honcho of Holding Hands Records, the label currently at the forefront of London’s underground scene. It’s been a standout past year for DSC as his fresh, modern club sound has seen him play for leading clubs & festivals like Panorama Bar, Love International, Fabric and Dimensions. Vinyl sales of his Holding Hands and re-issue label, HH AGAIN, continue to sell out with each release as he shares with us his enduring love of house, garage, breakbeat, techno and electro, from artists such as Breaka and Adam Pitts to the legendary Bushwacka.

Those local to London will also be familiar with his quarterly Holding Hands charity parties that raise money for the label’s own Future Music Foundation, geared at giving new producers the hand they need with buying software and hardware to get started in their career.

He’s also emerged as a key artist on Nick Höppner’s Touch From A Distance label (we can’t wait for his performance at fellow Oxford-based Festival, Field Manoeuvres) and has released with imprints like Futureboogie Recordings and Me Me Me. With forthcoming EPs on Moxie’s On Loop and Scenic Route, an exciting new label out of South London yet to come, it appears 2019 still has a lot of exciting things in store.

      SOUNDBWOY KILLAH

There are a number of reasons why Soundbwoy Killah has quickly become a name that is turning heads among the UK rave continuum and beyond. His party-ready DJ sets – full of breaks, garage and hardcore – have firmly established him as one of Britain’s hottest electronic music newcomers. While referencing the past, SBK certainly knows how to give a nod to the future too. His high energy DJ and production skills are keeping up the rich legacy of UK dance music whilst paving the way for a future generation of ravers to come. Noticeable examples of this are his widely praised releases on labels such as Sneaker Social Club, Warehouse Rave and Hundred Flowers. His brand new LP on Sneaker is going down like a storm, receiving premieres across some of Europe's seminal channels; we’re sure that the best is yet to come for this highly charismatic leader of the dance.

      TAYLS (Foundation FM/Overtone)

Most known for her regular radio shows and a monthly residency at South London's Foundation FM, Tayls aims to showcase the best new artists and forward-thinking electronic music in the scene. Off the air, she has worked in various behind-the-scenes roles over the years, as well as playing regularly for parties such as Best Before and other emerging promoters and labels. She currently runs the South-London collective, Overtone alongside friends Holloway and Simkin, with the aim to embody and support a community through parties and releases. Their combined musical interests mean they take you on a tour of UK dance music and beyond, expect to hear acid breaks, rolling UKG cuts, euphoric techno and much more.

      HOLLOWAY (Warehouse Rave/Overtone)

As one of the London scenes' fast emerging talents, Holloway has continued to offer an interesting approach to the UK Garage genre as a curator, DJ and producer.

Releasing music via Dr Banana and Warehouse Rave his DJ sets, like his discography, employ a rather varied approach to the standard Garage sound, regularly switching between the euphoric pads, Rhodes stabs so well-renowned within the genre whilst coherently offsetting such sounds with the darker basslines and sombre melodies explored within his productions.

Over the past few years, his Rinse show (with Simkin) has welcomed an eclectic range of guests, from the likes of Untold, Happa, Jossy Mitsu and more.

Support throughout the day comes from some of our day dots:
