The Jazz Cafe Camden opened in 1990. With a capacity of only 350, the Jazz Cafe Camden provides a perfect, intimate setting for performers and audience members alike - ensuring that both sides get the absolute most from their musical experience there.
While the Jazz Cafe Camden initially focused on the genre which gave the venue its name, after being purchased by Mean Fiddler, the focus shifted toward a more diverse musical representation. Nowadays, acts from the worlds of Hip Hop, Dance, Funk and Soul amongst others feature almost as predominantly on the Jazz Cafe schedule as the jazz itself.
Knowing no bounds when it comes to the genres it represents, the Jazz Cafe Camden attracts a huge array of stars to its stage; Ben Harper, Brian Kennedy, Shawn Colvin, Des'ree, Dina Carroll, Emmylou Harris, Gabrielle, Faithless, Paul Brady, Mick Hucknall, Morcheeba, Yellowjackets and Percy Sledge are just a few of those featured on the Jazz Cafe schedule over the years.
