A conversation with Lorraine Hariton, Global Business - A view from the White House
A fascinating and revelatory insight into global politics and business is promised when Lorraine Hariton, who recently left her post as Special Representative for Commercial and Business Affairs at the US Department of State, is interviewed by Stryker McGuire, London-based senior editor at Bloomberg Markets.

Appointed by Secretary Hillary Clinton in 2009, Lorraine was responsible for outreach to the business community and led efforts in global entrepreneurship, innovation and international women's business leadership. Before working at the State Department, she was CEO for two start-up companies, where she raised nearly $50 million in venture capital. Stryker McGuire is the London-based senior editor for Bloomberg Markets, a monthly magazine published by Bloomberg News. Prior to that, he was a correspondent, bureau chief and senior editor at Newsweek magazine and the editor of LSE Research at the London School of Economics. McGuire has also been an associate at Lombard Street Research, an economics consultancy in the City of London. He is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts.
