      Computer Skills - Word in Eltham (2018-2019)

      This is a friendly informative course suitable for those who have completed a basic IT course or have equivalent knowledge.  This course will help you develop new and existing skills which can be used for future study, employment and recreation. You will learn how to create impressive documents adding images, and produce professional looking letters etc.  What will I learn? By the end of the course, you will be able to use Microsoft Word with confidence. What are the entry requirements? There are no formal entry requirements. However, you must already be able to create, save and print a document.  You should also be confident that you can attend all lessons. Is this the right course for me? This course is suitable for Developing skills to help find/change employment Those who wish to expand their general computer knowledge Those who wish to pursue their hobbies using computers as an aid Anyone who wants to keep active by learning new skills and meeting others During the first lesson your teacher will assess your skills to make sure this is the right class for you. What else do I need to know? You should bring a pen and paper for taking notes.  Also a USB stick if you want to take work home to practice. Fees apply to this course.
