Bread & Jam Mentor Walk: Increasing Sales of your Food & Drink product

Kickstart your week with a foodpreneur morning walk from Whole Foods Market in Kensington to Selfridges. Join three industry experts and a dozen fellow entrepreneurs on this morning mentor walk that will kickstart your working week. On this walk we will be focusing on how to boost your retail sales. So if you are a food and drink founder who wants to drive sales through your retailers join us on this 60 minute morning stroll through Hyde Park and learn from some of the industry's leading lights. What's a Mentor Walk? We've had some of our most inspiring and insightful discussions whilst taking a brisk stroll with friends and colleagues - the informal, relaxed vibe often leads to much more creative conversation than intense, face-to-face meetings. And so, this is what we aim to achieve with our Mentor Walks - they are your opportunity to informally chat to experienced industry experts as you stroll through London with a group of fellow entrepreneurs on the same journey as you. Each walk focuses on a different aspect of building and growing a food and drink business, and it's a great way to start the week. Time & Place Start: 08:00am 13th May, outside Whole Foods Market (W8 5SE). End: 09:00am 13th May, Selfridges (W1A 1AB). Our Mentors Phil White, Head of Sales, Ugly Drinks - Phil previously worked with Mondelez International in Marketing and Sales roles covering Cadbury's; Tassimo/Costa; Oreo and more and customers from Independents through to leading the Tesco relationship. Moving across to a younger brand, Phil led the Sales team at Lily's Kitchen with the team covering both UK and Europe across major multiples through to new business development. And younger again, Phil joined Ugly Drinks to lead out the Sales function through disrupting the Soft Drinks category with #theuglytruth. Miriam Rose, Head of Sales UK at HIPPEAS - Miriam has extensive experience of growing both corporate brands (such as Pepsico) as well as challenger brands (such as Cawston Press, Little Miracles and most recently HIPPEAS). Simon Lock, LVK  - Simon has helped grow some of the UK’s most progressive challenger retail brands over the past 10 years. Highlights include growing the Ecover and Method cleaning brands into world leaders in green cleaning, and launching the Bonne Maman brand of patisseries in the UK – taken to £8 million sales across all major UK retailers. Most recently he co-founded LVK and sales and marketing agency focusing on food and drink brands.
